Weekend update - 6/15/24

I played at my local field (Hoppers GA) Saturday with a pretty decent rec group. It was HOT! But the turnout was great and we had a lot of fun. I didn't find the Sabre kid so I still have the mini but I will find him. When I started playing I quickly noticed a kid playing with a rental Emek. He was there with his father but just the kid was playing. So the second game the kid went up tp play and I stopped over to ask the father if it was ok if I offered up my gun to his kid to use. He said that was fine. I walked over to the kid and said come here I need to fix your gun. He followed me over to my table and I handed my second LV2. It had my CTRL hopper and Alpha Air tank on it. I filled him up with paint and showed him how to use it. And he ended up playing all day and used it the whole time. He had a great time playing. I asked the dad how old he was and he said 13. His name was Noah. Nice kid. A little quiet and shy but he did great playing. There were also some guys playing that were on my team that I let use my Emek. They were shooting rental Emeks and I didn't have another hopper or tank so we switched the rental stuff over. They had a blast too. They had played airsoft so they were loving paintball. At the end of the day I had shot a guy that came from a place called AMI. I know from our foster care days that AMI is a boys home. They had a few guys with them. Feeling bad I shot him, I offered him my Emek with the electric hopper and tank on it. He had a blast. That was the big stuff. I talked to a lot players and had a great time. Until next time... Steve
